I wanted to be prepared well before leaving so I took with me a gluten-free bread, snacks etc. But it was not necessary. If it comes to availability of gluten-free food London is great.

There are beautifully marked gluten-free restaurants in London. Unfortunately, booking a table in advance is required. In the M & S Foods stores gluten-free tortillas and other ready-made products are available. They seem a little fatter or otherwise … full of mayonnaise which I’m not used to eat in such quantities. If your hotel is bed and breakfast you can of course ask for eggs in shell like I do or for cheese etc.

Prior to my arrival, I called the hotel to make sure they have something for me to eat. The lady  I talked to informed me that there was no problem with gluten-free food. She was right. Installing apps that help you find GF restaurants is good idea. I visited a lot of such places and I bought fruit and snacks which I highly recommend. I have the impression being on a gluten-free diet in London is quite easy taking into account availability of gluten-free products. It is a bit more expensive than in Poland but anyway I highly recommend visiting London it is a very beautiful city.
