Proven recipe for delicious angel wings.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 300 g gluten-free flour Mix C Schär
  • 6 yolks
  • 7 spoons of sour cream (18%)
  • salt
  • 1 tablespoon of spirits
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder (optional)
  • fat (lard or possibly oil)
  • powdered sugar

PREPARATION:

  1. Mix all the ingredients, knead the dough into a homogeneous mass.
  2. Knock the dough with a rolling pin. Very energetically hit the dough with a rolling pin, then fold the dough and hit again, repeat about 15 times.
  3. Roll out the dough to about 3mm, cut into strips: about 10 cm long and 3 cm wide. Cut a gash in the middle of the rectangle and pull one end through so it looks like a twist.
  4. Fry in a hot oil until they are gold.
  5. Use a paper towel to drain from excess fat.
  6. Serve with powdered sugar.

COMMENTS:

If the dough is too thick add more cream or yolk, if too thin, add flour.
